How it works
US passports for adults and children, the passport card, residence permits and visas, local ID cards, US and local driver's licenses, the International Driving Permit, Global Entry, leases, car registration, health insurance, and anything else with a date.
Each record suggests a lead time, such as nine months for a US passport and four months for a residence permit. You can change it. The reminder arrives as a notification at the hour you pick.
A bar under each record fills as its date nears. Amber means it is time to act and blue means it is up to date, always with a word beside the color.
See the next record that needs attention without opening the app. On the Lock Screen, the widget can show a private label instead of the record's name.
Questions
Many Americans abroad start nine months before expiration, because some countries ask for six months of validity on entry and consulate appointments can take time. The app suggests nine months for a US passport, and you can choose a different lead time.
No. You enter a label such as "Dana's US passport" and its dates. The app rejects text that looks like a document number where it can recognize it.
